Took grandsons, Jacob(8) and Joey(15), to shoot pictures and the San Jacinto Monument on 102509. As we turned onto Independence Prkwy. from 225, Jacob pointed out a hawk flying over the field on the left. Got a few shots of it flying. After visiting the San Jacinto Monument, we a hawk perched along side the road. The hawk was being attacked by a pair of mocking birds that seemed to think the tree the hawk was perched by was their territory.
