Seabrook 110509 - The Ospreys - Fishin', Flyin', and Friends
Returned to the lake between Todville Rd. and 146 in Seabrook. Met Dave Billingsley and Dennis Dorcey. My purpose for the day was to try to improve on techniques for shooting the Osprey's fish-catching sequences. A day of surprises and wonder.

Osprey Hunting at Seabrook on 102809
Went Wednesday to Seabrook to one of Ken Coleman's favorite spots to photograph pelicans. Unexpectedly I saw three separate Osprey hunting out in the bay. Two of the individuals are featured in this gallery.

Went to Seabrook to photograph birds of prey in flight and feeding. At times I felt I was part of an elaborate conard. What a contrast. The Osprey smacking the waters of the lake with diving speed of up to 100 mph while Mallards gently swim and quack along the shore.

From The Deck at Babbins, Keham
Having Nawlin's Crab Cakes and Bread Puddin' on the deck at Babbin's in Kemah, TX on 102108. After searching most of the morning found some good food, but a few of the missing birds from after IKE.
