Cloudy Day at Brazoria and San Bernard 5/13/09 : Weather wasn't as advertised. Hardly saw the sun peeping through at all. We had to make the best of a tough situation. Ken and I went with our photography trip to Brazoria and San Bernard NWRs ,though wasn't as advertised. It was supposed to be a day in which some sun would share the sky with some clouds. As it turned out, it was almost completely cloudy at Brazoria and San Bernard I almost broke my philosophy that I have operated under for so long. It is to give thanks for what you have, make the most of what you have been given. I am so often amazed when even at the time I am blind to the beauty and bounty I have been given had I just opened my eye. I was given such a bounty today, and included that bounty about which I speak in this gallery. It is a white-throated sparrow and is indeed one of His most beautiful creatures.
