Dave and I took a trip with Wayne Wendell to take photographs of the courthouses of Texas. This trip included Goliad and New Brunsfels. All photos were shot with the Sony A77 body and the Carl Zeiss 2.8 24-70mm lens with the exception of the Sandhill Cranes. They were shot with a Sony A99 body and a Sony 'G' series 70-400 lens. The majority of shot were taken using Sony A77's in-camera HDR, the others shot Raw using aperture priority exposures. In most cases the method is noted in the comments below the photo.
Two shots of Wayne Wendell from the back seat while he was driving. He was backlit from the left, and I used the Sony's A77 in-camera HDR capability. Three shots are taken at three different exposures- -2,0,+2 full F-stops. The three are held in cameras processor until shooting complete and then are processed in-camera HDR. The shadow tones are set from the +2 image and the brights are set from the -2 image.
